CNC Milling
Precision CNC milling across a wide range of metals. Complex geometries, tight tolerances and clean surface finishes, delivered by our team in Portsmouth to clients across the UK.
Our CNC Milling Service UK
Our CNC milling service handles everything from flat profiles and pocketing to complex 3D contoured surfaces. We work to your technical drawings with the precision and repeatability your application demands, whether that's a jig, fixture, bracket, housing or bespoke structural component.
Whether it's a single prototype or a scheduled production run, our vertical machining centre delivers consistent, accurate results. Practical tolerances range from 0.5mm to 1.5mm depending on geometry and material, with the machine itself capable of positional accuracy to 0.004mm.
Looking for a reliable CNC milling company UK businesses can count on? We quote within 1 to 2 working days and keep you updated throughout production via our order management system.

Milling Capabilities
Materials
Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium and engineering plastics. If we can source the billet, we can machine it. We work with customer-supplied stock too.
Lead Times
Turnaround of up to 3 weeks depending on complexity and material availability. We always aim to beat that where we can. Quote turnaround within 1 to 2 working days.
Quality Control
In-process inspection and final verification against your drawings. Full traceability and material certification available on request.
What Gets Milled
Our CNC milling service produces precision components across a broad range of applications. Common work includes jigs and fixtures for production line use, structural brackets and mounting plates, enclosures and housings for mechanical assemblies, and bespoke flat or contoured profiles where accurate geometry is critical.
Beyond component work, precision CNC milling is widely used in tooling and mould-making, prototype development, and the production of parts that go on to be used in larger assemblies across aerospace, automotive, marine and industrial sectors.
As a made in Britain manufacturer, every CNC milled component leaves our Portsmouth facility machined, inspected and verified by our own team. Part of the Excell Engineering Group, we bring group-level capability to every job regardless of size.
